1. Open Netscape Communicator 4.76 and press CTRL+2
  2. You are now in the 'Messenger' portion of Netscape.
  3. On the menu bar, select "Edit".
  4. Select "Preferences".




  5. Select "Mail & Newsgroups" and double-click on it to open the properties.

  6. Select "Identity" and fill out your specific information, just like the example screen below. So fill out your name, your company name and your email address.

  7. Select "Mail Servers".

  8. You need to use your current internet providers outgoing e-mail server. If you are not able to use their server please contact a Team Lightning Representative.

  9. Enter smtp.your-isp.com in the "Outgoing mail server:" text box

  10. Click on the "Add" button.

  11. Enter pop.ltgnet.com in the "Server Name:" text box.

  12. Select POP3 Server in the "Server Type" drop down.

  13. Enter your full email address in the "User Name" text box.

  14. Checking all boxes is recommended.

  15. Select the "POP" tab.

  16. Uncheck all boxes.

  17. Click the "OK" button.

  18. Click the "OK" button again.


You have completed setting the configurations for Netscape Communicator 4.76 and can now access your Team Lightning e-mail account.
