Instructions
for installing Terminal Services Client
- Copy
Folder1 and Folder2 from the floppy diskettes
provided to the desktop on your home computer.
- Double
click on Folder1 on the desktop to open it, and double
click on the setup icon pictured below to begin installation.
- The
install program will run, Click Continue, then the
OK button on the next prompt, and click I Agree
(Don't worry about the name that appears, it will not
affect anything within the setup.)
- On
the next screen that will appear after going through the
above prompts click the Setup Button below to begin
installation.
- You
will be given one other prompt. Click Continue and
the program will install.
- When
it is finished click OK to end the installation.
- Now
after the program is installed, to configure it go to the
Windows Start Button in the bottom left of the screen
Programs >Terminal Services Client > and Click Client
Connection Manager.
- The
following screen will appear and click the little button
in the upper right hand corner of the screen(shown below)
to configure.
- Click
Next to the first screen that appears, and on the
Next screen fill the Connection Name (What ever you'd like
to let you know this is your server) and the IP address
of the server.

- Click
Next and then Next to the screen that follows
as well, without entering any information.
- On
the next screen, which appears below, choose your screen
resolution, and Full screen.

- Check
both options on the next screen to appear.

- Click
Next without entering any information or choosing
any options, to the rest of the screens until you get to
the Finish option, and click that to end the configuration.
- Right
Click on the icon circled below and choose to Create
Shortcut on Desktop.

- Close
the connection manager, and double click on the Connection
Name icon on your desktop to open a connection to the
server.

have completed setting the configurations for Terminal
Services Client.
